James served 22 years in the Royal Navy as a Marine Engineer. He is a multi-skilled engineer with mechanical engineering bias. He holds an HND in Mechanical Engineering and various Leadership & Management qualifications.  He is now working as a Service Centre Manager for a leading manufacturer based in the Midlands.

 

Alex served a 10-year career in the British Army joining as a Metal Smith carrying out welding tasks to a fleet of vehicles including battle tanks and heaving equipment progressing to Workshop Manager. He holds NVQ 3 Welding and Fabrication and City & Guilds 3 Engineering (Fabrication & Welding). His engineering experience includes all types of welding including MIG welding and sheet metal work.  Alex now works as a Welding Shift Supervisor in Surrey.

 

Iain served for 12 years in the British Army as an Electronic Technician within the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME). He was responsible for the service, maintenance and repair of highly complex electronic’ systems onboard a variety of military vehicles, upon leaving he now has secured a new role as a Field Service Engineer in Wednesbury.

 

Lee served in the Royal Air Force as a Ground Radio Technician.  He was responsible for the service maintenance and repair of Radar and Ground Communications equipment including; HF/VHF and UHF radios.  He is now working as an RF Radio Engineer at Heathrow Airport.

 

Jeremy is an HND qualified Mechanical Engineer having completed a 14-year career in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME). His engineering experience includes motors, compressors, generators, pneumatics, hydraulics, pipework and valves. He now works as a Field Operations Supervisor in Lancashire.

 

Adam completed a 12-year career in the Royal Navy as a Junior Aircraft Engineering Mechanic.  This exposed him to a number of engineering disciplines including electrical, mechanical and hydraulic.  Having achieved a Foundation Degree in Engineering along with recognised civilian qualifications in Leadership and Management Demob Job placed Adam in a Technical Sales position in South Yorkshire.

 

Alan had a varied military career initially serving in the Queens Royal Hussars (QRH) as a tank crewman.  He was responsible for driving and operating all the equipment within the tank.  Since leaving his military career he served in the Territorial Army as a reserve soldier.  Through Demob Job Alan now works as a Yard Person securing the position with a client who recognised all his transferable skills gained whilst in uniform.

 

Tania served in the British Army as a Chief Clerk before she embarked on a career in the housing sector.  This aligned very strongly with one of our client’s needs who operated in managing all military married accommodation.  Tania is now enjoying her new job, based in Hampshire.

 

Grant served 17 years in the Royal Corps of Signals completing electrical installations on communication equipment. He is now working as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in the Ascension Islands where he is working on diesel engines (Allens 12VS12 with Brush alternators), CMR Control Panels and Brush MAVR, vacuum switchgear and wind farm units.

 

Chris served 6 years as an Electronics Technician in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) where he was responsible for the service, maintenance and repair of anti-aircraft systems, UAV camera systems and ground surveillance systems. He is now working as a Service Engineer for a manufacturer of bespoke equipment in Stockport.

 

James has previously served a six and a half year career within the Army as an Electronics Technician attaining the rank of Corporal.  He was responsible for the installation, servicing and maintenance of a wide range of systems and equipment including bowman telecoms systems, generators, electronic countermeasure equipment and lighting systems. James is now working as a Field Service Engineer for a prestigious company based in Sheffield.

 

Danny has just left the Army after serving 16 years with the Royal Logistics Corps. With his demonstrable HGV Class 1 Driving skills he has secured a new opportunity working as a Driver for a nationwide logistics company travelling the UK, Europe and Overseas driving class 1 and class 2 vehicles.

 

Hayden served 2 and a half years in the Royal Engineers as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Fitter.  He is a City and Guilds Certified Refrigeration Engineer and has also gained F-Gas.  His transferable skills were recognised by our client who has now employed him as a Field Service Refrigeration Engineer covering Aberdeen and the surrounding areas.

 

Peter has just left the British Army after serving 24 years in the Royal Signals as a Squadron Quartermaster Sergeant (SQMS). He was responsible for managing the catering and setup of events for the armed forces which including visits from the Royal Family. Peter is now working as a Logistics Manager based in Cambridge.

 

Alexander left the Royal Regiment of Scotland after 24 years’ service.  In his most recent role prior to leaving the Army, he held the post of Military Training Instructor where he was responsible for delivering military training courses to Infantry personnel.  He is now working as an Apprenticeship Co-ordinator where he conducts training and assessment of functional skills.

 

Another Royal Navy engineer has secured a great opportunity through Demob Job. Scott served 5 years and has now started as a Technical Support Technician in Dorset helping repair our clients’ electrical & mechanical equipment.

 

Alex has recently left the Royal Engineers after serving 4 years in the British Army. Our client took on board the raw transferable skills he has in Mechanical Engineering and he is now working as a Field Service Engineer covering the Milton Keynes and surrounding areas working on lifting equipment.

 

Colin had previously served a 23-year career in the Royal Logistics Corps. He holds B&E licence and Banksman/Slinger status, therefore he is fully conversant with correct lifting procedures, with the ability to operate forklift trucks and cranes.  Colin now works for a nationwide supplier of rental equipment as a Yard Operative/Driver.

 

Jason has previously served 22 years in the Royal Corps of Signals as a Telecommunications Engineer where he was responsible for the installation, service and maintenance of Telecoms/IT networks.  He left the service having attained the rank of Sergeant.  He now works for a nationwide Telecommunications company as a Network Operations Engineer.

 

James has just left the Royal Navy after serving 6 years as an Aircraft Engineer where he was responsible for maintaining the aircraft/helicopters on-board ship, he particularly was involved with the Sea King Helicopters. Our client recognised his transferable skills within Mechanical Engineering and he is now working as a Service Engineer for a company that design, manufacture and supply a variety of lifting equipment within the automotive industry.

 

Anthony completed a 10-year career in the Royal Air Force as a Supplier attaining the rank of Acting Sergeant. During his military career, he held a number of Warehouse/Logistics roles and now manages a Site for a well-established supplier of beverages based in the North West.

 

Simon spent 24 years in the Royal Corps of Logistics as a Supply Specialist attaining the rank of Sergeant. Simon holds military qualifications in logistics management. His military experience and transferable skills enabled him to secure a role with our client based in Manchester as a Shift Manager.

 

Richard has previously served 24 years in the Royal Navy as a Weapons Engineer where he was responsible for managing the engineering team working on satellite communications/ mobile surveillance equipment. He holds an HNC in Electronic Engineering. Our client took on his relevant transferable skills and he is now employed as a Project Engineer delivering electronic payment solutions across the South East.

 

Andrew completed a successful 24-year career with the Royal Military Police and left having attained the rank of Captain.  With a strong background in Operational Management, Quality Management and Security, his transferable skills were recognised by our client who has employed him as the Head of Operational Development, a senior role within their business based in Berkshire.

 

Mike served 5 years in the RAF as a Weapons Engineer. He gained NVQ Level 3 in both Aeronautical and Electrical Engineering. His transferable skills were recognised by our client who now employs him as an Installation Technician in Cheshire. He is now responsible for the installation of electrical equipment across the UK and Ireland.

 

Steven completed a 9-year Aeronautical Engineering career in the Royal Navy achieving an HNC qualification in Electronic Engineering.  His military experience included working on avionic equipment found in the Harrier working to strict safe systems of work often supervising other engineers under his management.  Steven now works as a Field Service Engineer in Scotland installing, servicing and maintaining our client’s high-tech equipment.

 

Chris completed an 8-year career in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) as a Vehicle Mechanic.  Achieving NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance he is experienced at maintaining and servicing a large range of vehicles both small and large.  His transferable skills enabled him to secure the position of a Field Service Engineer in the North East with our client who operates in the Energy sector.
