Whilst scrolling through the latest job vacancies on LinkedIn, I found a Field Service Engineer position that caught my eye. I wasn’t too sure if Demob Job could help me, as I left the Armed Forces nine years ago. Persistently I had been turned down for a role at the final stage as I was apparently too good, only to be refused a position above this (same company different site) as I did not have experience.  Joanne consulted with the employer and explained my case which thankfully led to interviews and, I am glad to say, an offer of employment which I have accepted. I left the Royal Navy in July 20 having served just under 7 years as a Supply Chain Logistics Specialist. DEMOB JOB approached me on the 24th July to discuss a vacancy they had available. Leaving the military is a daunting thought for everyone.  But to leave when a pandemic is in full swing really made me rethink my options.  However, after speaking with Adrian at Demob Job, my mind was at ease. We spoke about what I was looking for with regards to my future.  After only days he found what I can only describe, as a dream job for me. From then on the process was swift. I never felt alone and Adrian was there every step of the way.  A few months ago I was petrified about how I would pay to keep a roof over my head.  Now I’m comfortably in a job I enjoy.  I can’t thank Adrian and Demob Job enough for getting me on the right path to a fulfilling career.  Now a Maintenance Engineer in London
