I recently got in touch with Emma at Demob Job regarding a role I was interested in, consequently, Emma then got in touch, and we discussed the role in more detail. My CV was then sent over to the company and I was invited for an interview.  All the way through their process I was updated every step of the way by Emma and was then offered the job. I have really enjoyed working with Emma and cannot thank her enough for supporting me and keeping me updated every step of the way, it makes a huge difference. Just before I was made redundant I received a phone call from Emma at Demob Job having previously registered on their web site. She asked if I would be interested in applying for a Field Service Manager position. I was sceptical at first but she convinced me to make an application. Unfortunately, I was unsuccessful at the interview but gained some valuable feedback which suggested that I may be more suited to a hands-on role as a Field Service Technician.  This led to a further interview and, I am glad to say, a job offer. Demob Job and especially Joanne Foster were exceptional in finding me a new role. Persistently I had been turned down for a role at the final stage as I was apparently too good, only to be refused a position above this (same company different site) as I did not have experience.  Joanne consulted with the employer and explained my case which thankfully led to interviews and, I am glad to say, an offer of employment which I have accepted. I applied for a position that I found on the Career Transition Partnership (CTP) website which sounded like it would suit me. A short time later I was contacted by Joanne from Demob Job with some more details about the role. I said that I was interested in the position and that I would like to be put forward for it. Having read through my CV, Joanne suggested a few tweaks to better suit the position which I decided would be a good idea. After only a few days I had an interview lined up and was offered the position starting a month later. I left the RAF and began the laborious and slightly soul destroying task of searching for a job appropriate to my skill set. That interview was completed and Joanne kept in touch between myself and the company for feedback. I was then contacted back by Kim as Joanne had a holiday but I was made aware of this well in advance and Kim became my contact. I was delighted to hear that I was invited to the company HQ on Friday for a face to face interview after being shortlisted. I was delighted to be contacted by Kim to give me the good news that I had been offered the job. Joanne and Kim have been amazing throughout and I cannot thank them enough. I would describe Joanne and Kim as dynamic, highly professional, very supportive and confidence inspiring. I would recommend Demob Job to any service leaver be it imminent or out of the services for some time.
