Aaron (ex British Army Electronics Technician)
Joanne was there for me during the most difficult and concerning time of my career, the period in which I was leaving the military after 10 years not having any civilian contacts or experience. She made me feel calm and confident in securing a new career path even during the pandemic. I would highly recommend any ex-military or jobseeker to have Joanne caring for their needs. She was professional and kind during the whole process and considered all my needs throughout. Amazing support. Aaron is now an Engineering Technician in Lancashire.
Chris (Royal Navy Weapons Engineer)
“After uploading my CV to most of the general websites, within days, I was fortunate to receive a phone call from Joanne Foster at Demob Job informing me that she had found my CV online and wondered if I was in fact interested in a future role that she had matched my transferable skills against. From the start, Joanne was open and forthcoming with all the relevant information pertaining to the job role and the background on the company. Sure enough, I was put forward for this particular role and within days had secured a first stage interview. Fortunate to be successful and be welcomed back to a second stage interview by the company, Joanne was in close contact with the company and made arrangements for myself to attend and further discussed with me the potential next stages. This was all stress free, relaxed and handled by the professionalism of Joanne at every stage and waypoint. I am sure that if not for Joanne and Demob Job, that my CV may have fell by the side of the road and not been so successful. This came at a time when my previous role was contractually coming to an end and was flawless in transition. Highly professional, informative, and friendly throughout the process and would highly recommend Joanne and the team at Demob Job to anyone who is looking to progress their own career.” Chris is now employed as an Auditor in Glasgow.

Andy (Royal Air Force – Avionics Engineer)
I applied for a position that I found on the Career Transition Partnership (CTP) website which sounded like it would suit me. A short time later I was contacted by Joanne from Demob Job with some more details about the role. I said that I was interested in the position and that I would like to be put forward for it. Having read through my CV, Joanne suggested a few tweaks to better suit the position which I decided would be a good idea. Overall, the service was first class and thanks to Joanne and the Demob Job team I have now started my first job as a ‘civvy’.
Leaving the Royal Navy After 22 Years: How Demob Job Helped Me Find the Right Civilian Role
"Initially seeing a job advertised on Demob Job, I applied using the easy tool. Attach CV, write a short cover letter, and send. My hiring person, Kelly Chandler, was in contact with me as soon as I thought possible. Explaining everything that is and is yet to come during application, interviews and just general questions. Very easy to get know and talk to, genuine person, very approachable and understanding. After the first interview, I was kept in touch with for any details in a very timely manner, just enough to know exactly where my application was at, at whatever stage. Nothing was any bother to ask and was quick to alleviate any concerns I had. A great experience that has really helped with the daunting process of leaving the armed forces after over 22 years. Fantastic service, thank you Kelly". Andrew served in the Royal Navy as a Weapons & Sensors Engineer and is now employed as a Service Engineer in the medical sector.
