Who are Demob Job?

His vision was to build an ethical and professional recruitment business which would champion the employability of personnel who have previously served in our Armed Forces; Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Air Force.
Since those early days we have continued to grow and now have a focused team of consultants delivering permanent recruitment services to clients all over the UK and overseas.
Our future looks bright as we continue to prosper through planned growth.
Candidate Testimonials
Chris (Royal Navy Weapons Engineer)
“After uploading my CV to most of the general websites, within days, I was fortunate to receive a phone call from Joanne Foster at Demob Job informing me that she had found my CV online and wondered if I was in fact interested in a future role that she had matched my transferable skills against. From the start, Joanne was open and forthcoming with all the relevant information pertaining to the job role and the background on the company. Sure enough, I was put forward for this particular role and within days had secured a first stage interview. Fortunate to be successful and be welcomed back to a second stage interview by the company, Joanne was in close contact with the company and made arrangements for myself to attend and further discussed with me the potential next stages. This was all stress free, relaxed and handled by the professionalism of Joanne at every stage and waypoint. I am sure that if not for Joanne and Demob Job, that my CV may have fell by the side of the road and not been so successful. This came at a time when my previous role was contractually coming to an end and was flawless in transition. Highly professional, informative, and friendly throughout the process and would highly recommend Joanne and the team at Demob Job to anyone who is looking to progress their own career.” Chris is now employed as an Auditor in Glasgow.
Noel (ex REME Avionic Technician)
Just before I was made redundant I received a phone call from Emma at Demob Job having previously registered on their web site. She asked if I would be interested in applying for a Field Service Manager position. I was sceptical at first but she convinced me to make an application. Unfortunately, I was unsuccessful at the interview but gained some valuable feedback which suggested that I may be more suited to a hands-on role as a Field Service Technician. This led to a further interview and, I am glad to say, a job offer. If I had not let Emma convince me to attend the initial interview I would probably never have even tried for the second position. I would have no hesitation to recommend both Emma and Demob Job to my ex-military colleagues. Field Support Technician, Dorset
Andrew (ex Royal Air Force – Mechanical Aircraft Technician)
Thanks for all the help and support I’ve received from Joanne at Demob Job with this transition to a new career of Field Service Technician. You’ve provided great knowledge about the company, role and some very useful tips for both interview stages pointing out transferable skills that can be taken from a military background. Thanks again I wouldn’t have been successful without your help. Now a Mechanical Field Service Technician covering Liverpool and Manchester
From REME Vehicle Mechanic to Engineer Technician: Jack’s Civilian Career Breakthrough
“After being on the lookout for jobs for a while, I didn’t think I was getting anywhere until I applied through Demob Job. Once I had applied, I didn’t have to wait long before I was contacted by Joanne Foster, who oversaw the whole process and kept me in the loop throughout. I was fortunate enough to get the job, and even after being offered the role, Joanne stayed in contact to make sure the process of starting was as easy as it could have been.” Jack served in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) as a Vehicle Mechanic and is now employed as an Engineer Technician within the Energy sector.
Stuart (Completed a full career in the Royal Air Force (RAF) as a Chef)
Demob Job was a fantastic agency to use. Very knowledgeable and professional and highly recommended for anyone leaving the services looking for a career in engineering. Stuart is now employed as a White Goods Engineer covering the Hampshire area.
Stephen (ex Royal Air Force Avionics Technician)
‘Jack was a fantastic support going through the application process for the job. I had applied for another position through Demob Job but Jack identified a further role that he believed was a better fit. When it came to interview time his support increased dramatically, always keeping in touch with the employer and myself continuously updating us on the next stage. After the interview Jack’s hard work continued by communicating with both parties making sure each was happy. Jack put in maximum effort during the entire process, and after I had been successful his follow-up care was second to none. Not only a total professional but an absolute top guy’. Steve now works as a Maintenance Engineer in Scotland.
