Candidate Testimonials
Thomas (ex Royal Air Force Avionics Technician)
Having gone through a long and difficult process Joanne was with me every step of the way and was excellent in guiding me through the many obstacles. Joanne showed excellent knowledge in the field I was seeking employment in and was crucial in my preparation for the interviews for the role. Joanne was very attentive and always on the other end of the phone to help when I had questions. Could not recommend demob job and Joanne enough and if I ever look to seek different employment in the future, they will be my first contact. Thomas is now a Field Service Engineer in Bristol.
William (ex Royal Navy Marine Engineer)
Within 5 days of contacting me, Joanne had secured me an interview in my preferred field, which subsequently led to me gaining my first job outside of the Royal Navy. Joanne could not have been more helpful throughout the whole process, keeping in regular contact the whole time and always being on hand to answer any questions that I had. I would not hesitate to recommend Joanne to any service leaver in the future. William is now employed as an Operations Engineer in Somerset.
Daniel (ex Royal Air Force Avionics Technician)
Demob Job has been fantastic in helping me find a job in my final months of employment with the Royal Air Force. Joanne Foster was excellent from my application to confirming my new role as a Commissioning Engineer. Joanne helped me to prepare for my interview, gave me tips and advice along with a comprehensive brief on the company. Ultimately Joanne kept in regular contact to ensure my transition was as smooth as possible. I would recommend Joanne and Demob Job for anyone who is due to leave the military and is seeking new employment. Daniel is now a Commissioning Engineer based in West Midlands.

"After leaving the Royal Navy I was promptly contacted by Joanne Foster at Demob Job; Joanne almost immediately found several roles that matched my skill set as well as what I was looking for. On my way back from one interview she put me forward for the job I have now gladly accepted. Perfect for both location and opportunity to allow me to utilise my skills. Constantly trying to find the best job for me from the start as well as keeping me updated at every step, I would highly recommend Demob Job to any service leaver!”. Robert (ex-Royal Navy Marine Engineer)
I recieved a phone call from Emma explaining a vacancy had become available. Emma was very polite and helpful throughout the process and advised me before and after the interview. Any questions or queries I had were dealt with by Emma after hearing the good news of a successful interview and following job offer. Had Emma not of made the original phone call recognising my skills and job to suit I would not find myself working for a successful company in a role I enjoy. Thank you Emma. Project Engineer (Mechancial), Northumberland

“After being on the lookout for jobs for a while, I didn’t think I was getting anywhere until I applied through Demob Job. Once I had applied, I didn’t have to wait long before I was contacted by Joanne Foster, who oversaw the whole process and kept me in the loop throughout. I was fortunate enough to get the job, and even after being offered the role, Joanne stayed in contact to make sure the process of starting was as easy as it could have been.” Jack served in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) as a Vehicle Mechanic and is now employed as an Engineer Technician within the Energy sector.
