“I have done what I believe most service leavers do and saved my leave to have a few months off at the end of their career. I’d been at home making the most of the summer with my wife and kids but with the end of the summer holidays in sight I started to upload my cv to various websites. Almost immediately I was bombarded with calls from pushy recruiters telling me I’d be “perfect” for whatever job they had and would I like to apply but never hearing from them again, after a few weeks I was getting fed up with this. Having gone through a long and difficult process Joanne was with me every step of the way and was excellent in guiding me through the many obstacles.
