“I have done what I believe most service leavers do and saved my leave to have a few months off at the end of their career. I’d been at home making the most of the summer with my wife and kids but with the end of the summer holidays in sight I started to upload my cv to various websites. Almost immediately I was bombarded with calls from pushy recruiters telling me I’d be “perfect” for whatever job they had and would I like to apply but never hearing from them again, after a few weeks I was getting fed up with this. Then Kelly Chandler from Demob Job gave me a call. We had an actual conversation about what sort of employment and employer I was looking for, discussed the skills I had developed in the RAF and we ended the call with assurance she would find something suitable for me.  I got a call back from Kelly a few days later about a position available in a company that met my specification. My CV was sent off, I went for an interview and got the job! Kelly was there to support and guide me through the whole process and I’m looking forward to starting my job on Monday. ‘Jack was a fantastic support going through the application process for the job. I had applied for another position through Demob Job but Jack identified a further role that he believed was a better fit. When it came to interview time his support increased dramatically, always keeping in touch with the employer and myself continuously updating us on the next stage. After the interview Jack’s hard work continued by communicating with both parties making sure each was happy.
