Who are Demob Job?

Demob Job was established in 2005 by our Managing Director Adrian Cheesman after he completed a successful full career in The Royal Corps of Signals.

Leaving the Royal Navy After 22 Years: How Demob Job Helped Me Find the Right Civilian Role

"Initially seeing a job advertised on Demob Job, I applied using the easy tool. Attach CV, write a short cover letter, and send.  My hiring person, Kelly Chandler, was in contact with me as soon as I thought possible. Explaining everything that is and is yet to come during application, interviews and just general questions. Very easy to get know and talk to, genuine person, very approachable and understanding. After the first interview, I was kept in touch with for any details in a very timely manner, just enough to know exactly where my application was at, at whatever stage. Nothing was any bother to ask and was quick to alleviate any concerns I had.  A great experience that has really helped with the daunting process of leaving the armed forces after over 22 years. Fantastic service, thank you Kelly".  Andrew served in the Royal Navy as a Weapons & Sensors Engineer and is now employed as a Service Engineer in the medical sector.

Job hunting proved difficult with many employers not taking the time to reply to my applications. I then applied for a position I found on the CTP website, immediately Joanne Foster was in touch to explain the role and requirements in more depth, within minutes I had experienced the personal and professional service Demob Job offer. Joanne helped me every step of the way offering advice, feedback, and an understanding I do not think would be found at any other recruitment company. I would urge anyone leaving the Armed Forces to use the experience and professionalism Demob Job have at their disposal. Thanks to Joanne I have secured a job with a prestigious North East company.”  Paul is now employed as a Senior Marine Engineering Manager in Tyne and Wear.
