Whilst scrolling through the latest job vacancies on LinkedIn, I found a Field Service Engineer position that caught my eye. I wasn’t too sure if Demob Job could help me, as I left the Armed Forces nine years ago. I initially called up Demob Job ex-military recruitment agency to request further details and I spoke to Joanne Foster. Joanne was fantastic at explaining the vacancy further and the recruitment process. The whole process from start to finish was great, with Joanne supporting me at every stage. I left the RAF and began the laborious and slightly soul destroying task of searching for a job appropriate to my skill set. I was in contact with an old colleague who linked me to the advertisement posted on Demob Job by Joanne.
