From Army Infantry to Stores Assistant: I cannot recommend Demob Job enough
“Right from the beginning Demob Job stood out, this started from reading the online job advert and me contacting them. Everything about the vacancy was just superb telling you everything you needed to know. Within an hour of applying Kelly Chandler from Demob Job was in touch. Kelly puts you at ease and asks all the relevant questions for the employer and also answers all your questions making sure everything is ok. All through the recruitment process Kelly was fantastic, informing and supporting me at every step. On the morning of the interview Kelly called me to make sure I was ok allowing me to ask any last-minute questions. After the interview yet again Kelly was superb. Craig (ex Royal Navy Logistics Specialist)
I left the Royal Navy in July 20 having served just under 7 years as a Supply Chain Logistics Specialist. DEMOB JOB approached me on the 24th July to discuss a vacancy they had available. After a few telephone conversations with DEMOB JOB regarding the position and a little bit of information about the company I was successful in being put forward for an interview with the company the following week. The next day I was again contacted by DEMOB JOB to inform me I had been successful in the interview and the company was offering me the position available. I accepted the offer and was given a start date. I would have no hesitation in recommending DEMOB JOB to any ex military personnel or current serving members who are in the process of leaving HM Armed Forces and seeking employment in civvie street. Craig is now employed as a Defence Operations Coordinator in Tyne & Wear.
Robert (ex-Royal Navy Marine Engineer)
I recieved a phone call from Emma explaining a vacancy had become available. Emma was very polite and helpful throughout the process and advised me before and after the interview. Any questions or queries I had were dealt with by Emma after hearing the good news of a successful interview and following job offer. Had Emma not of made the original phone call recognising my skills and job to suit I would not find myself working for a successful company in a role I enjoy. Thank you Emma. Project Engineer (Mechancial), Northumberland
From Royal Navy to CHP Field Engineer: How Demob Job Helped Me Find the Right Fit
“After leaving the Navy I went home to Cornwall to seek employment which ended up being sparse in the engineering world. After a calculated move to Lancashire I was messaged by Joanne to discuss one of my applications for an engineering technician role with an energy company. Joanne kept contact with me throughout the whole four weeks to obtain my details and provide valuable information, motivation and assurance. I am happy to say that after a phone call interview and a formal on-site interview I was offered the position. Joanne has worked tirelessly providing me with the job details, company websites and ensuring I was comfortable with each step of the process.” Chris served in the Royal Navy as a Marine Engineer and is now a CHP Field Engineer in the North West.
