Over 19 Years in the Royal Navy to Project Manager: Marc’s Career Change with Demob Job
"Absolutely fantastic service from Demob Job, and in particular Joanne, who handled my application. The service was very professional and concise. I had regular updates during the process, and Joanne was very understanding when I wasn’t feeling well and had to reschedule my interview. Joanne got a new interview organised on the same day, and even after getting accepted for the job, Joanne has stayed in touch to make sure my start goes smoothly. I would thoroughly recommend Demob Job for all ex-forces personnel looking for a new job." Marc served for over 19 years in the Royal Navy as a Marine Engineer and Weapons Engineer. He is now employed as a Project Manager.
Phillip (ex Royal Air Force Electronics Engineer)
I have nothing but high praise for Demob Job and in particular, Joanne Foster, who is both professional, helpful, and friendly. She explained the process, the role, and assured me I had the skills required, which is not easy when you are going through the redundancy process. I felt I was in safe hands and never had any issues or doubts. Joanne kept in touch regularly to see how I was doing, which I considered a nice touch. I would recommend Demob Job as a recruitment agency to anyone and everyone. Phillip is now an IT Support Engineer in Tyne and Wear)
Noel (ex REME Avionic Technician)
Just before I was made redundant I received a phone call from Emma at Demob Job having previously registered on their web site. She asked if I would be interested in applying for a Field Service Manager position. I was sceptical at first but she convinced me to make an application. Unfortunately, I was unsuccessful at the interview but gained some valuable feedback which suggested that I may be more suited to a hands-on role as a Field Service Technician. This led to a further interview and, I am glad to say, a job offer. If I had not let Emma convince me to attend the initial interview I would probably never have even tried for the second position. I would have no hesitation to recommend both Emma and Demob Job to my ex-military colleagues. Field Support Technician, Dorset
Tony (Ex British Army Major)
I have had the benefit of Emma Saxton's help in recently securing a senior logistics management role in London. If I could summarise her many positive professional attributes in three words they would be; proactive, diligent and tenacious. She is undoubtedly the best recruiter I have worked with in recent months and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking a new management position, especially those with an Armed Forces background. She has considerable potential to advance in her chosen profession and I will be directly recommending her to friends and colleagues. Emma: it's been a pleasure! Logistics Manager, London
Julian (ex British Army – Household Cavalry Regiment)
After applying for a position through the Demob Job website I was contacted by Emma who was very helpful in helping me adjust my CV to reflect the vacancy. Emma organised everything, including the interview which I attended and was offered the job. I would like to personally thank the team at Demob Job and particularly Emma for her friendly professionalism and assistance. Now an Estates Manager in West London
Carl (ex British Army Royal Engineers)
I applied for a position that I found advertised with Demob Job early one morning as the location suited and the job spec was very much within my skill set. I very quickly received a call from Joanne at Demob Job to explain the vacancy in detail and to discuss my background and expectations. This lead to me being introduced to the company which resulted in an interview being arranged very quickly. Prior to the interview, Joanne gave me some very good advice and pointers. The interview went very well and I was offered the position. Even after the job offer Demob Job still contacted me to ensure that I was completely happy. I found everybody who I dealt with at Demob Job, especially Joanne, extremely helpful and polite. Logistics Manager, Hampshire
Gemma (ex Royal Armoured Corps and Royal Corps of Signals)
Leaving the British Army during a pandemic was something I never expected to happen. I was quite concerned with the employment opportunities, however I managed to find a job I was interested in and applied to Joanne at Demob Job. Joanne rang me the very next day to set up an interview. The communication was second to none through the whole process, and Joanne was brilliant. Joanne gave me some brilliant advice to prep for my interview and even followed up on the day. I am proud to say the interview was successful and I was offered the job which would start only two weeks later. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Joanne for making my transition into civilian life seamless. Gemma is now employed as a Telecommunications Apprentice Trainer in Wiltshire.
