Military support during the pandemic
We all know that the military has been supporting the great effort towards winning the war against COVID-19.
Not in the conventional ‘conflict’ way but in providing people, resources, and experience.
Right from the word ‘go’ the military were called in to support the distribution of PPE, to ensure that the right kit, was delivered to the right place at the right time.
Today we hear the great news that the first vaccine is ready and potentially could be available as early as next week. We all know that the military will again play a big part in rolling this out across the nation.
Whether it is the floods, firefighter strikes, foot & mouth, or in this case the pandemic you can rest assured the military will be playing a big role.
So, what does that mean to you as an employer?
It means that when you employ a former military person that you gain a more rounded experienced candidate who is able to adapt to changing environments whilst working under pressure towards a common goal, not too similar to what you are trying to achieve in your business.
