I have a fantastic opportunity for a military trained mechanical engineer or technician to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Leeds. My client is looking for a hands-on engineer with a strong mechanical bias who enjoys fault finding, problem solving, and improving equipment reliability, working a rotating shift pattern of days, lates and nights.
This role would ideally suit candidates leaving the Royal Navy, British Army or Royal Air Force from engineering trades. The successful candidate will join the site engineering team supporting production operations by responding to equipment breakdowns, carrying out planned maintenance, and contributing to root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a practical engineering mindset and willingness to learn who wants to develop their skills within a supportive engineering team.
