Marine Engineer

I am excited to partner with a growing manufacturer close to Dundonald, in County Down. They have an immediate requirement for a Marine Engineer to join their team, looking after their wastewater site. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Marine Engineer to join a growing, financially stable and sustainability conscious business, offering full training and future progression.

Marine Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Carry out general engineering maintenance, inspection and repairs of pumps, motors and wastewater site.
  • Make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Carry out mechanical and electrical fault-finding.
  • Work closely with team to ensure site is fully operational.
  • Ensure the site is always clean and tidy.

Marine Engineer Requirements:

  • Engineering experience within the marine, wastewater or agricultural sector will suit this position.
  • Strong mechanical engineering capabilities.
  • Basic electrical knowledge – fault finding.
  • Experience of working with planned maintenance systems.

Marine Engineer Benefits:

  • Salary £44,460 – weekly pay.
  • 45 hour working week – Monday to Friday – 8am – 5pm.
  • 28 days annual leave – includes bank holidays.
