I am currently recruiting on behalf of my client for an Engineering Apprenticeship Assessor supporting Royal Signals apprentices. You will deliver and assess the Level 3 Engineering Technician apprenticeship programme, guiding learners from induction through to End Point Assessment and helping them develop the skills and confidence needed to build successful engineering careers.
This role offers an excellent work life balance with Monday to Friday working, generous annual leave and an extended Christmas stand down, giving you approximately two weeks off over the festive period without using your annual leave entitlement. Engineering Apprenticeship Assessor Responsibilities:
- Deliver apprenticeship training through a combination of one to one and group based sessions.
- Assess learner work, provide constructive feedback and support progression.
- Carry out learner inductions and ongoing progress reviews.
- Maintain accurate learner records using e portfolio systems.
- Identify and support individual learner needs to ensure successful completion.
- Motivate and guide learners throughout their apprenticeship journey.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure quality and compliance standards are met.
Engineering Apprenticeship Assessor Requirements:
- Must have served within the Royal Signals and have an electrical engineering background.
- HNC or equivalent experience within an engineering or electrical discipline.
- Previous experience in coaching, mentoring or training within a workplace environment would be advantageous.
- A teaching or assessor qualification, or willingness to work towards.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Confident using digital systems and maintaining accurate documentation.
- A learner focused approach with a passion for supporting the development of others.
Engineering Apprenticeship Assessor Benefits:
- Salary £32,088 – £39,191 depending on experience.
- Monday to Friday – 37½ hours.
