Field Installation Technician

I am currently recruiting on behalf of my client for a Field Installation Technician to join their growing team based in Hinckley. Candidates must live within approximately 50 miles of the site and be prepared to travel extensively throughout the UK and internationally, including regular overnight stays during the working week.

Working alongside experienced engineers, you will support the installation, movement and positioning of specialist machinery and engineered systems across a wide variety of industries. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone with practical hands on skills, a mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.

Field Installation Technician Responsibilities:

  • Support installation and assembly activities on customer sites throughout the UK and overseas.
  • Assist with the movement, positioning and alignment of specialist machinery and equipment.
  • Operate a range of hand tools and specialist equipment following full training.
  • Support civil and mechanical engineering installation projects.
  • Work safely on customer sites whilst maintaining high quality standards.
  • Travel extensively and stay away from home during the working week when required.
  • Work closely with colleagues to successfully deliver a wide variety of engineering projects.

Field Installation Technician Requirements:

  • Previous experience within a practical, hands on role.
  • Mechanical, construction or engineering experience would be advantageous.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors when required.
  • Prepared to travel extensively throughout the UK and overseas.
  • Full UK driving licence and valid UK passport.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work as part of a team.

Field Installation Technician Benefits:
