Warehouse Operative/ Driver Team Leader

I am currently recruiting a Warehouse Operative/Driver Team Leader to join a successful and growing company based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. The successful Warehouse Operative/Driver Team Leader will be responsible for picking materials, loading, unloading vehicles, delivering products to local clients and taking on Team Leeder duties with the other drivers, this would involve tasks such as motivating the team, holding weekly meetings and ensuring smooth running of the daily client deliveries, ensuring high standards at all times.

Please note this role is split between the warehouse and out on the road, therefore candidates must be flexible to travel in and around the local area and previous Team Leader experience would be beneficial.

Warehouse Operative/Driver Team Leader Responsibilities

• Ensure materials are picked, packed & processed efficiently and in full, to meet customers’ delivery requirements.
• Loading and unloading lorries in a safe and legal manner using forklift.
• Deliver products to local clients.
• Responsible for small team of drivers, motivating the team and ensuring deliveries are made to meet with clients’ requirements whilst providing exceptional customer service.

Warehouse Operative/Driver Team Leader Requirements:

• The successful candidate must have a strong warehouse or logistics background, ideally within a Team Leader role.
• Forklift license is essential.
• HGV C1 license essential.
• CPC card is essential.

Warehouse Operative/Driver Team Leader Benefits:

• Up to £34,000 annual salary DOE
• Monday to Friday, 6.30am – 16.30pm – flexible to meet business needs.
