Technical Training Instructor

I am excited to partner with a leading training organisation who deliver bespoke training solutions to their customers throughout the UK. Due to continued growth and expansion, they are now recruiting for a Technical Training Instructor to join their team at their site in Immingham, Lincolnshire. Please note the role is predominantly based in Immingham although there will be the requirement to travel to other sites occasionally, therefore candidates need to be flexible towards travel.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ex-military engineer who has experience of delivering instruction/training courses. There is also the opportunity for the right candidate to progress to Lead instructor.

Technical Training Instructor Responsibilities:

  • Deliver instruction of training courses to an audience of students.
  • Delivery of classroom theory and practical training to students, covering electrical, mechanical and hydraulics principles.
  • Support the review and update and develop course material in line with course standards.
  • Be a support function in the education and training of instructors.

Technical Training Instructor Requirements:

  • Hold a minimum of Level 3 qualified in engineering and proven hands-on experience and knowledge.
  • Experience in the delivery of training in a technical capacity.
  • Mechanical/hydraulic skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present at all levels.
  • Hold a qualification in teaching/instruction – highly advantageous.
  • IT literate – MS Office.
