Multi Skilled Shift Engineer

My client operates a fast-moving manufacturing facility in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear. They are currently recruiting an Multi Skilled Shift Engineer  to join their team working 4 on 4 off, consisting of 2 days/2 nights. The successful Multi Skilled Shift Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance to the machinery on site ensuring the site is always fully operational.

Multi Skilled Shift Engineer Requirements:

• Must hold a minimum of NVQ level 3 qualification in either Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• 18th Edition would be advantageous.
• Previous experience carrying out PLC fault finding.
• Previous experience working on cranes would be beneficial.
• Proven hands-on experience within a maintenance environment, especially with 3 phase and single-phase systems.
• Forklift license would be beneficial.
• Self-motivated and enjoy problem solving.
• Able to work in a team and on own initiative.
