The Armed Forces community is one of the major commercial sources of security cleared personnel.
The difficulty is locating these people as many, due to the nature of their military background, are not using the typical job-seeking resources as they prefer to use their own peer group or trusted recruitment partners, such as Demob Job.
The Client, who delivers a bespoke nationwide service, contacted Demob Job acknowledging that they were struggling to find an engineer with the appropriate level of security clearance. Their requirement was also complicated as they needed an engineer who was flexible towards working away from home.
Demob Job completed an in-house comprehensive ‘vacancy take-on’ with The Client, this produced a very detailed job and person specification.
Demob Job then developed and initiated a search &selection assignment.
Assignment Results:
- 21 candidates were initially shortlisted by Demob Job
- 6 candidates were then interviewed by Demob Job
- All 6 candidates were introduced to The Client
- The Client invited and interviewed 3 candidates
- 1 candidate successfully placed
