Meet Arnie from Bridport, Dorset:

Military Career: Royal Navy Marine Engineer

Background: Arnie has just left the Royal Navy after serving 7 years as a Marine Engineer. He describes himself as a multi-skilled engineer and is experienced with both mechanical and electrical systems. Experienced with a wide variety of equipment including diesel generators, diesel engines, fuel systems. He has worked on gas turbines and steering propulsion systems however his section was more involved with generators and engines. Work included injector cleaning, stripping down fuel pumps and replacing seals, strainer bodies, cooling systems, resetting system pressures and oil testing, he was also involved with camera inspections of engines.

Availability: Arnie is available at a few days’ notice for an interview and can start employment immediately.
