Client:

A leading telecommunications company specialising in providing services relating to communication infrastructure including telecom towers.

Assignment:

Demob Job was approached to search, select and introduce candidates to fill six roles, across the UK, for Installation & Maintenance Engineers and Team Leaders.

Solution:

Due to the urgency of these roles 2 recruitment consultants were dedicated to this one client account and an immediate search & selection process was initiated. The search & selection process highlighted 25 potential candidates all of whom were interviewed by Demob Job for their suitability against skills, qualifications, work experience and location. From this original number 12 candidates were introduced, 8 called forward for interview and 5 candidates placed. Those placed included 2 candidates from the Royal Corps of Signals (Telecommunications Engineer and Aerial Rigger), a Royal Air Force Aerial Rigger and a Tank Commander who left the British Army and gained a firm commercial background within BT.

Client:

A nationwide logistics company dealing with the delivery and collection of high value assets.

Assignment:

Due to expansion the Client required to employ a number of additional drivers across a number of UK sites. All drivers had to gain security clearance and the client’s conventional advertising methods to attract suitable candidates were not proving productive. Recognising that ex military candidates not only had a proven work history but many other relevant attributes Demob Job was approached to discuss a potential solution that could meet some very tight time lines. After gaining a thorough understanding of the job roles and agreeing potential interview dates and candidate numbers Demob Job initiated a search & selection process.

Outcome:

One dedicated consultant worked on this account to ensure continuity of delivery of service on a very firm understanding of the client requirements. After utilising all internal and external routes to ex-military candidate contact the Client was informed that other suitable candidates without a military background had been located and interviewed. All 6 roles were filled by Demob Job and a site visit was completed to meet with the client and discuss future roles. Since that date a further 2 driving roles and a Site Manager role have been filled.

Client:

The UK’s leading supplier in cleaning services.

Assignment:

The Client had an initial requirement for 7 Multi-Skilled Shift Engineers at 3 sites across the UK. The Client was experiencing problems with finding suitable candidates through their normal processes of advertising and using their existing recruitment agencies. Demob Job offered the potential to introduce candidates with an ex-military engineering background.

Outcome:

Through the success of filling these original opportunities our relationship with the Client has grown to the extent that we have placed over 30 engineers at various UK sites. These have included ex-military Chief Marine Engineers, Junior Marine Engineers and Weapon Engineers. Although the Client has changed their recruitment processes to save money during what is a challenging time, we are still regularly approached when these new methods do not produce the results required. Consequently we continue to place personnel with our Client in engineering, HGV driving and customer service roles.
