Introduction:

Are you looking for a company who will value your skills? Our client is now recruiting for 4 x Shift Maintenance Engineers (Electrical bias) at their site in Blackburn, Lancashire.

SALARY IS £38,500, 4 ON / 4 OFF SHIFT PATTERN 2 DAYS / 2 NIGHTS – 12 HOURS SHIFTS, OVERTIME AVAILABLE, 25 DAYS HOLIDAY PLUS BANK HOLIDAYS, PENSION SCHEME, DEATH IN SERVICE 1 X ANNUAL SALARY, SICKNESS SCHEME, UNIFORM AND PPE PROVIDED, FREE CAR PARKING.

Shift Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) Responsibilities:
- Carry out reactive, responsive and planned maintenance to the machinery in the plant.
- Diagnose and resolve both electrical, mechanical and basic control and instrumentation faults.
- Complete all work allocated to a high standard.
- Regularly observe and discuss equipment performance and make recommendations for activities to improve this.
- Work collaboratively with all teams to resolve any issues and drive improvement and performance.

Shift Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) Requirements:
- The successful candidate will hold a recognised Electrical Engineering qualification and a time served apprenticeship.
- Strong electrical background with mechanical skills.
- Pneumatics experience – advantageous.
- 17th or 18th Edition qualification.
- PLC/Laptop fault finding experience.
- Fault finding and diagnostic skills.
- IT literate – Word, Excel.
- IOSH qualification – desirable.

Shift Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) Benefits:
- Salary is £38,500.
- Shift pattern – 4 on / 4 off, 2 days / 2 nights – 12 hour shifts.
