We are currently recruiting for a Field Service Manager based in Basingstoke, Hampshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that after sales commissioning, installation and service support is delivered to the customers.

Field Service Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage the service administration team to ensure that customer’s need and requests are dealt with quickly and effectively and that any follow up requirement is noted planned for executed.
- Manage service coordinators to deliver services to the highest quality, ensuring all activities are dealt with in accordance to company procedures and that all service staff are suitably trained for the job.
- Be aware of the service requirement of work requirement of work orders and plan accordingly for successful installation and commissioning of the equipment we manufacture.
- Travel to sites to liaise with customers and engineers as required, check that work/projects are on track and the required standards are being met.
- Liaise with Sales and Spares departments to ensure that all opportunities for capital equipment, spare parts and repairs are optimised at all times.
- Continuous improvement and development of the department to deliver excellent customer service and maximise revenue from the services offered.

Field Service Manager Applicant Requirements:
- The successful candidate must have a strong managerial experience and have a background with electrical / electronics’.
- HNC / HND in Electrical / Electronics’ Engineering or equivalent.
- You will need a strong electronics’ background for this role and be able to fault find down to component level.
- Knowledge of current regulations applicable to the industry would be an advantage.
- Experience of customer service role and be capable to handle multi issues, scheduling and manage remote working personnel.
- Flexible with regards to travel to customer sites when needed.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
