Are you leaving the military but still looking for regular travel? Have you got a Naval background and have experience as an Electronics Engineer? Our client is now recruiting for a Customer Support Engineering Supervisor to join their existing team in Maldon, Essex. The successful candidate will be responsible for travelling to customer vessels around the world to carry out service, repair and commissioning of company products.

Customer Support Engineering Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Manage the day to day activities of the Customer Support Department with responsibility for supervising the Field Service Engineers and Customer Support Administrators.
- Management of customer support projects, on-site and in-house, liaising directly with senior customer staff.
- On-site Field Management of projects for the Customer Service Department, managing the overall project plan, budget, tasks descriptions, Liaising with ships staff and ensuring sign off.
- Plan technical staff availability to meet commissioning service and repair works.
- Manage service levels and customer relationships.
- Manage customer enquiries via telephone and email for supplied parts and services.
- Act as a primary point of contact for all service and repair enquiries from Engineers throughout the business.

Customer Support Engineering Supervisor Requirements:
- The successful candidate must have a strong electronics engineering background with an HNC or equivalent in a related subject.
- Experience within project management is essential for this role.
- Electro-mechanical engineering experience.
- Competent with carrying out risk assessments.
- Strong leadership / supervisory background.
- Ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Hold Full UK Driving Licence.
