Introduction:
Our client is a global manufacturer of bespoke engineering equipment. They are currently recruiting for a mechanically biased Customer Support Engineer to join their team at their site in Renfrew.

£COMPETITIVE SALARY, PENSION SCHEME, LIFE ASSURANCE, 27 DAYS HOLIDAY + 4 DAYS BANK HOLIDAYS.

Customer Support Engineer Responsibilities:
- Organise and provide a high level of technical support for our customers and distributors in conjunction with the service management system.
- Respond to and record all incoming technical calls and emails within agreed SLA.
- Prioritise incoming emails and report escalated issues to the Technical Manager where required.
- Management of the service bay to ensure in house repairs are turned around within agreed timescales.
- Manage warranty part requests and working collaboratively with other service teams and managers.

Customer Support Engineer Requirements:
- Mechanical engineering and technical aptitude.
- Fault diagnosis experience.
- Robust knowledge of mechanical systems.
- Good practical skills and a methodical approach to solving problems.
- Knowledge of CRM systems – advantageous.
- Self-motivation, with the ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi task effectively.
- Strong telephone manner and Microsoft Office skills.
