Our client is a manufacturer of specialised engineering solutions. They now have a requirement for a QHSE Coordinator to join their team at their site in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.


QHSE Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Ensure that systems and controls are in place and adhered to in order to maintain the effective management of QHSE within the company.
- Ensuring all risks relating to Quality, Health & Safety and Environment are identified and understood and have suitable and sufficient controls in place to minimise those risks.
- Ensuring documentation, instruction and training is available to all employees and that it is regularly reviewed for accuracy and suitability.
- Participating in the process of continual improvement and standardisation of best practice across the business.
- Implement group policies into company procedures liaising with the site management team.
- Liaise with other divisional QHSE personnel to ensure common working practices.
- Participate in QHSE initiatives, innovations, programmes and processes through the business.
- Ensure that QHSE procedures and controls are implemented effectively and comply with statutory, legal and industry requirements.
- Undertake a program of internal and supplier audits to demonstrate compliance with all management systems documenting through utilisation of standardised electronic software systems.
- Maintain existing management system approvals (ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, to ensure continued registration.
- Generate data for assessing and monitoring QHSE performance and report results to Senior/Executive Management.
- Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet all standards.

QHSE Coordinator Requirements:
- Hold NEBOSH General Certificate or NVQ 3 Occupational Health and Safety as a minimum qualification.
- Quality, Health and Safety experience within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
- Knowledge of material certification would be highly desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and engagement skills at all levels of the business.
- Flexibility and a “Can do” attitude are essential.
- Good working knowledge of document management systems and approved procedures.
- Driving licence to allow travel between clients when necessary.

QHSE Coordinator Benefits:
- Negotiable Salary dependant on experience.
- Monday to Thursday – 7.30am – 4pm, Friday 7.30am – 1pm.
