Our client is a leading manufacturer of plant machinery used in a variety of industrial sectors based in Buckingham, Buckinghamshire.  They are now recruiting for a Workshop Supervisor to join their existing team who will be responsible for the day to day running of the workshop.

SALARY £38,000, 25 DAYS HOLIDAY PLUS 8 STATS, EMPLOYER CONTRIBUTORY PENSION + BENEFITS TO BE DISCUSSED AT INTERVIEW STAGE.

Workshop Supervisor Responsibilities:
- To provide workshop based service support for all company products in the UK.
- Manage day to day operation of the repair facility including management of individual projects ensuring labour and parts are allocated correctly to bring projects in on time and budget.
- To oversee the yard storage area and facility maintenance.
- Ensure safe day to day operation of the facility.
- Responsible for providing customers with high quality after sales support, using your judgement in making correct commercial and technical decisions.
- Produce fast effective maintenance and service in line with product requirements.
- Provide customer support and technical / operational training.
- Maintaining of company, ISO and health & safety standards.

Workshop Supervisor Applicant Requirements:
- The successful candidate must have a strong supervisory / management background and be experienced within Mechanical Engineering.
- You must also have some crane or lifting equipment experience.
- NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance, Mechanical engineering or similar.
- Technical experience in Electrical, Hydraulics, Mechanical & Pneumatics.
- Good administration and report writing skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence including HGV Class 2 would be ideal.

Workshop Supervisor Benefits:
- £38,000 Salary.
- Monday – Thursday 8am – 4.30pm & 8am – 4pm Friday.
