Introduction: 
Our client is a leading Telecommunications provider based in Bermuda.  Due to continued expansion they have a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who has sales experience and a technical background in the field of Telecommunications/IT.  The Business Development Manager – Telecoms/IT will be responsible for achieving assigned revenue targets and increase market share for the company’s portfolio of products and services, including but limited to the following business segments: MPLS, Dedicated Internet, Long Distance, Cellular Services, TV, Local Access and Cloud Services.

Business Development Manager – Telecoms/IT Responsibilities
- Understand the customer’s strategic business objectives and which technology is required to assist with achieving those objectives. 
- Manage resources and coordinate with local NOC utilising a ‘hands on approach’ when designing a solution, and liaise with the customers’ technical group to ensure the design can meet their current and future needs. 
- Prepare responses to RFP’s and presentations on various technical solutions to satisfy customer requirements. 
- Prospect new opportunities and meet revenue targets across all product lines and be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks including project managing various implementations of company solutions. 
- Update and keep the company’s customer relationship management database current for all assigned accounts. 
- Provide accurate monthly forecasts regarding existing opportunities across all lines of business.
 
Business Development Manager – Telecoms/IT Requirements: 
- Technical background within the Telecoms/IT sector with a working knowledge of fundamental data/cellular networking concepts and applications.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of products and services (DIA, MPLS, TV, Cellular and other Telecommunications related services).
- Proven sales experience.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface and carry out presentations at all levels.
- Excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
- Motivated, self-starter and target driven with a passion for sales.
- Willing to relocate overseas.
- IT literate.

Business Development Manager – Telecoms/IT Benefits: 
- Basic salary of $70,000 with uncapped commission and potential earnings of up to OTE $160,000.
