Our client is a leading manufacturer of specialist equipment.  They now have a requirement for a Technical Support Engineer to join their existing team in Basingstoke, Hampshire.

Salary £25,000 - £28,000 depending on experience, plus pension, 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays plus other benefits to be discussed at interview stage.

Technical Support Engineer Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting customers via telephone on the full range of company products.
- Evaluate and administer warranty claims in-line with company procedures.
- Provide the highest level of customer service at all times.
- Support the sales teams in the promotion of company products.
- Also providing support in the workshop when needed on product repairs.

Technical Support Engineer Applicant Requirements:
- The successful candidate must have a strong electrical / electronics’ engineering background.
- Must also have a mechanical aptitude.
- Willing to provide telephone support and also still be ‘hands on’ in the workshop when needed.
- Analytical in approach and enjoy problem solving.
- Excellent communicator.

Technical Support Engineer Benefits:
- £25,000 - £28,000 depending on experience
- Monday – Thursday 8.30am – 5pm & Friday 8.30am – 4pm
- 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays.
- Company pension scheme.
