Introduction:
Our client is a leading education provider . They are now recruiting for a Lecturer in Electrical & Power Engineering to join their existing team in Newcastle Under Lyme or Stafford.

£23,431 to £33,252 annual salary depending on experience. 50 days holiday per year, generous pension scheme plus other benefits to be discussed at interview stage.

Lecturer in Electrical & Power Engineering Responsibilities:
- This role is responsible for delivering BTEC Level 2 in Engineering, Level 2 Practical Engineering and Foundation Degree in Engineering.
- Teaching Electrical and Electronic Principles, Electrical Power (including motors and power distribution) and Engineering Control Systems (such as computer control, PLC systems etc).
- Teach other specialist subjects for which he / she is qualified and which are appropriate in the context of effective deployment of staff.
- Act as a personal tutor or course tutor to a group of students and undertake the duties associated with this pastoral role which includes attendance at parents’ evenings.

Lecturer in Electrical & Power Engineering Applicant Requirements:
- The successful candidate must be qualified to first degree level or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
- Ideally you will hold a relevant teaching qualification or be willing to undergo further qualifications.
- Hold English & Maths GCSE or equivalent.
- Must be competent in Electrical and Electronic principles, electrical power and engineering control systems with the ability to deliver to industry standard.
- You must have the ability to deliver to higher level programmes including foundation degree.

Lecturer in Electrical & Power Engineering Benefits:
- £23,431 - £33,252 annual salary depending on experience.
- Monday – Friday 9am – 4pm.
