Job Title: Electrical Instrumentation Engineer (x3)

Location: Chatham, Kent

Salary: Up to £35,000 plus Benefits

Introduction:
Our client is a leading utility provider to their client-base. They’re now looking for Electrical Instrumentation Engineers to travel to their sites in the Kent and South East area to install, maintain, repair and commission all plant instrumentation, control and monitoring equipment.

SALARY UP TO £35,000 DOE, STANDBY PAYMENTS, OVERTIME AVAILABLE, COMPANY VEHICLE, MOBILE PHONE, IT TABLET, PPE, UNIFORM PROVIDED, PENSION SCHEME & TOOLS.

Electrical Instrumentation Engineer Responsibilities:
- Routinely maintain and/or calibrate instrumentation to the client’s standards to ensure reliability and accuracy.
- Respond to instrumentation faults within client parameters, as guided by Dispatch department.
- Undertake investigative work on instruments and process problems on water and wastewater plants as required, identifying any faults and implementing remedial action.
- Exchange information with other team members, plant operators and departments as required.
- Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Solely responsible for water supply final product quality instrumentation, shutdown and alarm systems.
- Implement control system modifications from operational requests to improve process control or compliance.
- Coach, train and develop staff under their supervision.
- Be prepared to work as part of an on call rota.

Electrical Instrumentation Engineer Requirements:
- Must hold a relevant electrical/electronic engineering qualification, ideally with a recognised Apprenticeship in a relevant discipline.
- Strong working background of servicing and maintaining various flow meters, detectors, control systems and other measurement meters, instrumentation, control and/or automation systems.
- Strong fault finding skills on PLC/SCADA/Telemetry systems.
- IT Literate.
- Hold full clean driving licence.

Electrical Instrumentation Engineer Benefits:
