Maintenance Engineer - Ripon

Our client is a leading manufacturer of specialist equipment.  They now have a requirement for a Maintenance Engineer to join their existing team in Ripon, North Yorkshire.

£28,000 SALARY PLUS OVERTIME, PENSION, HEALTHCARE & OTHER BENEFITS

Please note this is a day shift position however they do carry out shifts for around 8-12 weeks to cover the busy period – this will consist of 6am – 2pm & 2pm – 10pm.

Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:

- Perform routine, planned and preventative maintenance on our client’s equipment.

- Perform breakdown repairs.

- Record parts used, maintenance performed, repairs and remedial activity required.

- Pro-actively work with the team, supervisor and manager to close out jobs, or complete necessary remedial works.

- Provide support to cover small maintenance works on the buildings where required.

Maintenance Engineer Applicant Requirements:

- It is essential for this role that you have strong multi skilled engineering background with an electrical bias.

- Ideally you will hold 17th edition certificate or something similar and be a strong electrical engineer.

- Experience within a service / maintenance role possibly gained within a high volume production facility.

- Sound communicator.

- Self-motivated, able to work using own initiative.

- Enjoy problem solving.

- Able to work and remain calm under pressure.

Maintenance Engineer Benefits:
