Introduction:
Our client is a leading solutions provider in the field of Communications. Due to continued expansion they are now looking for an Electronics Technician to join their team at their site in Market Deeping. The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair and test of customers and production main equipment and subassemblies.

Electronics Technician Responsibilities:
- Repair and test customer main equipment and subassemblies.
- Repair and test production main equipment and subassemblies.
- Competent in the use of tools & jigs associated with relevant test or diagnostic tasks.
- Record all faults on the fault database.
- Co-ordinate document repair activities, including warranty work.
- Provide assistance to Customer Services Department on customers’ equipment operation, repair status, & repair costing.
- Request changes/improvements with regard to test programs.
- Provide technical feedback to the Engineering Department.
- Act as technical point of contact for technician engineers within Manufacturing.
- Provide training & technical supervision of Technicians & Technician Engineers.
- Apply ‘5S’ techniques to the workplace.
- Report any difficulties/problems/concerns to the Supervisor.
- Conduct other Product Technical Services tasks as requested by the Supervisor.

Electronics Technician Requirements:
- Hold BTEC National Certificate/Diploma, HNC preferred, or the equivalent qualification.
- Experience of fault finding on electronic units in a manufacturing environment, using appropriate test equipment and circuit diagrams.
- Repair and rework hand soldering.
- Thorough knowledge of analogue and digital RF principles.
- Enjoy problem solving.
