My client provides total facilities management solutions to a number of industry sectors within both the private and public sectors throughout the majority of the UK. They are now recruiting for a Chef at their client’s site in Bury St Edmonds. Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be willing to undertake DBS checks.


Chef Responsibilities:
- Able to work under pressure, cook, prepare and present food to a high standard.
- Ensure the kitchen area is kept clean to the highest standards.

Chef Requirements:
- Hold NVQ LV2 in food preparation and cooking or equivalent as a minimum level of education.
- Proven experience of working in a professional kitchen.
- Attention to detail.

Chef Benefits:
- Competitive salary.
- 37½ hours per week worked over 4 days consisting of 3 x 10 hour shifts, 8am – 6.30pm and 1 x 7½ hour shift.
- Alternate weekends must be worked – overtime paid.
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
