Introduction:
My client is a renewable energy company based in the UK. Due to continued expansion they now have a requirement for a Service Coordinator/Scheduler to join their team at their site in Truro. You will work closely with the Operating Projects Supervisors, Head of Operating Projects in activities relating to operating renewable power plants. Please note on successful completion of training, the intended working pattern will be Monday to Friday, alternate weeks of working 6am – 2pm and 1pm to 9pm.

This presents itself as an ideal opportunity to join an established company with full training provided in all areas. Although not essential, this could be well suited for a person who has previously served in the Armed Forces i.e. British Army, Royal Navy or Royal Air Force (RAF) with a technical aptitude and strong customer service skills.


Responsibilities:
- Assist with the transfer of operational control of wind and solar farm project sites.
- Provide general assistance with Health, Safety and Environmental matters.
- Recording of technical feedback from any repairs or servicing.
- Follow emergency response plan protocol.
- Assist with the supervision of the site SCADA system including monitoring, data download, quality control and back up.
- Carry out collection, analysis and reporting of production data.


Applicant Requirements:
Essential:
- Technical aptitude.
- Effective team player with ability to work on own initiative.
- Sound communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Enthusiastic and keen with the desire to learn new skills.
- Hold a full clean driving licence.
- IT literate with the ability and willingness to learn new software.
Desirable:
- Background in IT or an engineering discipline.
- Experience in a despatch or work planning area.

- Hours of work on completion of training are on a working pattern of 6am – 2pm and 1pm – 9pm (Monday to Friday).
