Our client is a leading commercial company that provide logistical support to our Armed Forces. They now have an immediate requirement to employ a number of experienced ex-military Logistic Technicians to be based in Waddington, Lincolnshire.

Your main duties will be to assist in the storage and distribution of aircraft supplies within a warehouse environment. Candidates must be flexible with their working time and location as this role is shift work and involves time spent away from home working overseas.

The ideal candidate will have a previously demonstrable logistical military background having previously served in the Royal Air Force (RAF) (Supplier), Royal Navy or British Army (Royal Logistics Corps / RLC). All successful candidates will have to become a Sponsored Reservist and therefore meet certain fitness and health criteria, explained in detail on expression of interest.

Responsibilities:
- To receive, supply, dispatch, expedite and deliver parts in support of our customer’s requirements.
- Work alongside the Royal Air Force as part of a Central Stores team supplying and receiving aircraft parts. - Deploy on an occasional basis under operational/exercise conditions to locations around the world ensuring inventory is properly categorised and accounted for.
- Locate inventory into correct shelf locations, pick inventory for shipment to customers and perform inventory cycle counts.
- Update company logistics database accurately in a timely manner.
- Assist in unloading of incoming inventory from deliveries, including requirement to operate forklift equipment, load and unload vehicles.
- Drive company vehicles and carry out stores delivery duties.

Applicant Requirements:
- Recent working background within a military logistics environment applying Military Logistics and Supply Chain Rules and Regulations.
- Experience in carrying out quality control checks and to count and record stock figures.
- Working experience in warehousing, handling inventory, picking and bar code equipment.
- Ability to handle the wide range of materials, deal with multiple customers and priorities, and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Full valid driving license.
- Happy to do Monday to Friday shift work including nights.
