Workshop Engineer

Our client is an established and successful company operating in the engineering and manufacturing sectors. They now have an immediate requirement for a Workshop Engineer to join their growing team based in Pontypool, Torfaen. The successful Workshop Engineer will be required to carry out maintenance, assembly, testing and repairs on the companies’ products prior to despatch to their customers. Please note flexibility is required to be available for a 1 in 5 call out rota and for any emergency call outs/overtime which can fall into weekend working.

Workshop Engineer Requirements:

• Hold a NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering with a proven background.
• Mechanical bias background, with proven electrical skills.
• Experience within a similar role.
• Full drivers’ licence.
• Initiative to work on your own and as a part of a team.

Workshop Engineer Benefits:

• Mon – Fri, 08:00 – 17:00.
• £32,000 per annum, OTE £40,000.
