Vehicle Technician

I am excited to be supporting a reputable company who are a leader in the automotive trade. They have a vacancy for a Vehicle Technician to join their team at their site in Ashington, Northumberland. The successful Vehicle Technician will be responsible for carrying out the service, maintenance, MOT’s and repairs of vehicles, ensuring the work carried out is in accordance with the company and manufacturer guidelines.

Vehicle Technician Responsibilities:

• Carry out service, maintenance and repairs to a consistent high standard.
• Conduct vehicle health check and detect and diagnose any additional faults for repair.
• Carry out the preparation for new and used cars.
• Road test vehicles to ensure the quality of work.

Vehicle Technician Applicant Requirements:

• Hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 3 in Automotive Engineering or equivalent.
• Previous relevant experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Hold a MOT qualification, or be willing to obtain it.

Vehicle Technician Benefits:

• Salary up to £37,000
• Monday to Friday only.
• 28 days annual leave including bank holidays.
