Our client is a leading manufacturer of bespoke equipment, they supply equipment and engineering services to their prestigious customer base worldwide. Due to continued expansion, they now have a vacancy for a Service Engineer to be based at their client’s site in Southampton. The successful Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, service, maintenance and repair of company equipment on site. There will be some occasional travel to other sites in the UK and overseas, therefore candidates must be flexible towards this.
Service Engineer Requirements:
- The successful candidate will be mechanically biased with a relevant engineering qualification Level 2 and above.
- Proven electrical and hydraulic skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering diagrams.
- Physically fit with the ability to work at height.
- Flexible approach to occasional travel and staying away from home.
- Hold full clean driving licence.
Service Engineer Benefits:
- Salary is up to £36,000.
- Monday to Friday – 40 hour working week.
