Maintenance Technician

I am excited to be supporting a leading successful rolling stock company who have a vacancy for a Maintenance Technician to join their team at their site in Horsham, West Sussex. The successful Maintenance Technician will be responsible for carrying out the planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdowns to the company equipment and machinery. Please note, this is a nightshift role.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ex-military engineer leaving their military career who is looking to join the rail industry. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply.

Maintenance Technician Requirements:

• Must have completed a recognised apprenticeship and hold a Mechanical or Electrical engineering qualification to level 3 as a minimum.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering diagrams & schematics.
• Proven engineering experience including pneumatics, hydraulics.
• Have strong fault-finding skills including PLC fault finding.
• Strong communicator.

Maintenance Technician Benefits:

• Salary £35,000 to £41,000 depending on experience.
• Nightshift pattern – rota to be discussed.
