I am currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a successful and growing company based around Bath, Salisbury or Gloucester. The successful candidate will be responsible for travelling around the South-West area visiting customer sites to carry out service, repair, and maintenance of compressed air systems.
This is an opportunity to work for a very reputable company with Field Service Engineers based all over the UK, extra training and qualifications will be provided for the right person.
Field Service Engineer Responsibilities:
- Complete service reports, timesheets, job sheets, and recommendations accurately and on time in accordance with laid down procedures.
- Promote the company in order to secure opportunities for additional work.
- Repair broken-down equipment under emergency call out schemes.
- Support system commissioning and training activities.
- Carry out equipment and system installation work at customer sites.
- Complete appropriate risk assessment and method statement paperwork before commencing work.
- Maintain good professional working relationships with all existing and new customers.
- Participate in the Call Out Rota as required.
Field Service Engineer Applicant Requirements:
- The successful candidate must have a strong mechanical engineering background.
- You must hold NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Some electrical experience would be advantageous.
- Experienced with compressors.
- Ability to work under pressure and to targets and deadlines.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Flexible with regards to travel and occasional overnight stays.
- Full training will be provided on the equipment.
