Engineering Service Coordinator

Due to significant growth our client, a leading engineering company is now recruiting for an Engineering Service Coordinator to join their existing team in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. The successful candidate must have strong experience as a Service Coordinator within a high demanding service engineering environment.

£21,000 – £24,000 SALARY, MONDAY TO FRIDAY 8AM – 4.30PM, 25 DAYS HOLIDAY PLUS 8 STATS, EMPLOYER CONTRIBUTORY PENSION & BONUS SCHEME

Engineering Service Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Using Service Database (SIS) and Operation System (SAP) create and Process engineers job sheets checking that; the correct service has been completed, all parts have been used, compressor running hours are in line with and engineers hours entered are in line with the service agreement schedule sold to the customer.
  • Create all invoices and ensure that correct hours at correct rates and all sundries items have been charged in line with Company guidelines and specific customer price agreements.
  • Create additional work quotations, save in SAS and chase up outstanding quotes on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain Company Service Customer Spreadsheet, showing what service agreement they are in (basic, original & premium), annual value, payment terms, service level response time and any extras included.
  • Preparing quotations for new and renewal service agreements, for both new and existing customers. Chase up customers for orders as required.
  • Preparing quotations for overhauls of existing equipment, for both new and existing customers. Chase up customers for orders as required.
  • Correctly entering all information from signed Service Agreements, e.g. planned service visits and parts required for each visit, into company Systems currently SIS & SAP.
  • Create stage payment invoices for customers on service agreements as required.

Engineering Service Coordinator Applicant Requirements:

  • This role will suit an experienced Service Coordinator who has a background working with Service Engineers.
  • A proven track record, of results in service administration and working with field Engineers.
  • Excellent customer service, communication and team working skills essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure, to targets and deadlines is required.
  • High level PC literacy skills. Knowledge and experience in MS Word & Excel essential. Knowledge and experience of SAP and Lotus Notes desirable.
  • A high level of attention to detail essential, with the ability to enter data accurately into company’s computer system, produce reports, parts requisitions, service contracts, quotations etc.
  • A high level of personal effectiveness, discipline and organisation required.
  • Enthusiastic and persistent with ability to use own initiative, when required.
  • Demonstrate qualities of consistency, diplomacy, discretion and integrity.
