Job Title: Mobile Vehicle Technicians

Location: Northern England & South West

Salary: £30,000 to £33,000

Start Date: Immediate

Introduction:
Our client is a leading Defence and Automotive company with various locations across the UK.
They now have a requirement for a Mobile Vehicle Technician to cover the North of England throughout Lancashire and Yorkshire and the South West, throughout Bristol, Weston Super Mare, Somerset, Bath, South Gloucestershire, Devon and Cornwall.. This role involves working shifts for which this is already included in the salary.

Responsibilities:
- Completion of servicing, adjustment and repair to fleet assets including the removal and refitting of equipment in a safe, proper and economical manner
- Testing and diagnosis of faults using recognised test procedures and techniques
- Observation and reporting defects/symptoms of impending failure
- Identification, ordering and fitting of replacement parts as required
- Delivering all work to high safety, security and professional standards
- To carry out servicing and repair on new dimension assets across UK locations.

Candidate Requirements:
- It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have come from a similar breakdown / recovery role.
- You will be mechanically biased with some electrical experience / knowledge.
- Although not essential, this role would ideally suit people from a background from other road service providers.
- Full clean driving license
- Good diagnostic skills
- Fully qualified Vehicle Technician
- You will have a good understanding of Health and Safety requirements
- Be able to understand and follow technical instructions and documents
- Work well unsupervised

Benefits:
- Salary between £30,000 and £33,000 per annum.
