Job Title: Operations Manager

Salary: Daily rate - £250 per day

Introduction:
My client is a leading global Engineering, Construction and Services company, They specialize in delivering diverse comprehensive Operations, Engineering, Maintenance and Logistics solutions to the Ministry of Defence along with other Government Infrastructure agencies, They are now looking for an Operations Manager to support the business in delivering some of their challenging Projects and assignments.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the safe and efficient management of a large number of assets in a number of different UK and overseas locations.
- Responsible for the management of a large workshop and supply chain process.
- Communicating the deliverable requirements across all areas of the new projects,
- Implementation, administration and control of multi site locations throughout the UK and overseas.
- Responsible for negotiating and acquiring projects then have the ability to manage and help to deliver the solutions.

Applicant Requirements:
- Possess an engineering background in major workshop multi site projects.
- Proven MOD Workshop Engineering Management background including Maintenance, Repair, Modifications and Transport.
- Business Acumen.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- People management.
- Innovative in approach.
- Problem solver.
- Experience in running large MOD workshop with Fleet and Asset management.
