Joanne joined Demob Job in October 2008. She has some indirect ties to the military having been a Brigadier's PA whilst her husband served in the British Army. Joanne therefore has a very strong understanding of military life along with recognising the strong transferable skills service leavers can offer employers when embarking on their new civilian career. Previously employed as a Senior Sales Advisor with a local estate agency Joanne has settled very quickly into becoming a strong member of the recruitment team.

'During my interviews to join Demob Job I was excited by the management's vision for where the company was going. Establishing employment for ex military candidates is very rewarding and I have already formalised my recruitment skills by gaining the REC* Certificate in Recruitment Practice'

Joanne is originally from South Shields and has recently volunteered to organise the participation of all Demob Job staff in the Great North Run 2010 in order to raise money for a military charity, watch this space.
