Type: MULTIPLE VACANCY REQUEST

Client:
A leading telecommunications company specialising in providing services relating to communication infrastructure including telecom towers.

Assignment:
Demob Job was approached to search, select and introduce candidates to fill six roles, across the UK, for Installation & Maintenance Engineers and Team Leaders.

Solution:
Due to the urgency of these roles 2 recruitment consultants were dedicated to this one client account and an immediate search & selection process was initiated. The search & selection process highlighted 25 potential candidates all of whom were interviewed by Demob Job for their suitability against skills, qualifications, work experience and location. From this original number 12 candidates were introduced, 8 called forward for interview and 5 candidates placed. Those placed included 2 candidates from the Royal Corps of Signals (Telecommunications Engineer and Aerial Rigger), a Royal Air Force Aerial Rigger and a Tank Commander who left the British Army and gained a firm commercial background within BT.

Client:
A nationwide logistics company dealing with the delivery and collection of high value assets.

Assignment:
Due to expansion the Client required to employ a number of additional drivers across a number of UK sites. All drivers had to gain security clearance and the client’s conventional advertising methods to attract suitable candidates were not proving productive. Recognising that ex military candidates not only had a proven work history but many other relevant attributes Demob Job was approached to discuss a potential solution that could meet some very tight time lines. After gaining a thorough understanding of the job roles and agreeing potential interview dates and candidate numbers Demob Job initiated a search & selection process.

Outcome:
One dedicated consultant worked on this account to ensure continuity of delivery of service on a very firm understanding of the client requirements. After utilising all internal and external routes to ex military candidate contact the Client was informed that other suitable candidates without a military background had been located and interviewed. All 6 roles were filled by Demob Job and a site visit was completed to meet with the client and discuss future roles. Since that date a further 2 driving roles and a Site Manager role have been filled.

Client:
The UK’s leading supplier in cleaning services.

Assignment:
The Client had an initial requirement for 7 Multi-Skilled Shift Engineers at 3 sites across the UK. The Client was experiencing problems with finding suitable candidates through their normal processes of advertising and using their existing recruitment agencies. Demob Job offered the potential to introduce candidates with an ex military engineering background.

Outcome:
Through the success of filling these original opportunities our relationship with the Client has grown to the extent that we have placed over 30 engineers at various UK sites. These have included ex military Chief Marine Engineers, Junior Marine Engineers and Weapon Engineers. Although the Client has changed their recruitment processes to save money during what is a challenging time, we are still regularly approached when these new methods do not produce the results required. Consequently we continue to place personnel with our Client in engineering, HGV driving and customer service roles.

Type: DEFENCE COMPANY

Client:
A very large international company supplying logistical support to the Armed Forces.

Assignment:
The client had a need for a high end recruitment service who could undertake two long term assignments delivering drivers and engineers. Due to the nature of these roles each candidate had to meet specific eligibility criteria.

Outcome:
One consultant managed this contract for over 3 years therefore building a very solid understanding of the client’s requirements. Each applicant was thoroughly briefed on the opportunity and checked for eligibility prior to introduction to the client. Close consultation with the client and candidates through a multi stage interview process resulted in a large number of ex military candidates securing employment.

Client:
A large national company delivering services to military sites.

Assignment:
Our client required a Mechanical Transport Supervisor to manage both the commercial and military on site vehicles.

Outcome:
Two candidates were introduced and the position was secured by an ex Warrant Officer who had served in the Royal Artillery. The successful candidate had both a firm relevant military and commercial background in this field of work.

Type: SINGLE VACANCY

Client:
A small Health and Safety company located in North Yorkshire.

Assignment:
Our client had an immediate requirement for a H&S Advisor to help deliver a major contract which they had recently secured. Client requested, if possible, suitable candidates to be forwarded within 48 hours.

Outcome:
Three candidates were proactively found and interviewed by a Demob Job consultant prior to introduction. The client invited 2 candidates for an interview resulting in one candidate being offered the position. The successful candidate was a Warrant Officer who had recently left the Royal Logistic Corps with a strong H&S background.

Client:
A North East based Information Technology company.

Assignment:
Due to expansion our client was actively recruiting for a Network Engineer and had previously employed an ex military candidate.

Outcome:
Demob Job interviewed and introduced 3 candidates for the client’s consideration. The position was secured by an ex military Infantry soldier who had retrained on leaving the British Army.

Client:
A national recruitment agency delivering Master Vendor recruitment services to major clients.

Assignment:
To add value to their existing recruitment supply chain through the introduction of ex military candidates.

Outcome:
A very successful partnership where Demob Job’s placement ratio is twice that of the average agency working within this large account. Client:
A leading UK supplier or facility management.

Assignment:
To provide added value to their existing Preferred Supplier List (PSL) through the introduction and placement of ex military candidates.

Outcome:
A long established relationship working on a large number of vacancies relevant to the build, maintenance and management of large facilities. Our visibility of ex military engineers coming from a firm Royal Navy, Royal Air Force and British Army background has allowed us to introduce many quality candidates.
